Step grate is designed for different types of biofuels, especially those with high humidity and ash content. This grate type is used in combination with a boiler that can be set directly on it. It is made of high quality materials, and grate bars are produced from hightemperature resistant chrome cast steel. Hydraulic drive ensures even distribution of fuel. Depending on the size of the grate, it can be equipped with one, two or three moving trolleys. The temperature in the furnace is kept at the level that ensures the most efficient combustion of fuel. Technical solutions used in this construction ensure efficient drying of moisty fuel by means of thermal radiation. Efficient fuel combustion and low flue gas emission are achieved by using controlled air supply through nozzles placed along the whole grate.
